Its not a port problem and its intermitent, which adds to the frustration.
It doesnt happen when I use Zoundry to post to my Pressharbor-hosted blog, so I guess its something to do with how Blogware ...

Problem fixed. It was yet another manifestation of the IE6/7 peekaboo bug and just needed to add this to the enclosing div

The vanishing Adsense box was a manifestation of the well-known IE peekaboo bug. By trial and error, I managed to find a fix.
