I prepared my copy for blog in microsoft word. When I copied and pasted it to my blog, it lost its formatting including the word links. Is there something in my blog settings/options that will allow me to keep formating and links during the copy and paste?

Thanks

There is unfortunately no setting that will make your text keep its formatting during the copy and paste. The issue here is that Word is not an HTML editor. When you do the copy and paste operation Word retains poorly formatted and extraneous HTML code which does not function properly when posted to our service, so we suggest that you avoid creating your posts in Word.

The best solution for creating posts offline is to use a blogging client software like Blogjet for Windows, or ecto for Mac. Learn more about configuring Blogjet with our BlogHarbor service here, or learn about using ecto here.

Another blogging client for Windows you might want to look at is WB Editor. I haven't tried it yet, but T. L. Pakii Pierce posted a video tutorial for using WB Editor with BlogHarbor on his How To Blog For Fun & Profit! blog.
