Hey there,
Two traffic related questions -
a. Would you know why a blog is or is not appearing say, on the traffic listing at Truth Laid Bear - http://www.truthlaidbear.com/TrafficRanking.php?
I can find Chez Nadezhda, which is a blogharbor site is listed.
b. I put another traffic tool on my site - and the results are significantly different. I was hoping you might be able to give me some insight on why that might be.
Thanks! |

I honestly don't know how that system works, you might want to ask them this question.

There is no way to get two stats reporting systems to agree on anything. As we talked about here and here for example:
- Stats analysis is subjective and based on interpretation of data.
- 3rd Party stats by definition are not party to every transaction between the server and a web client.
A search engine robot, for example, is less likely to be seen by a third party stats service. Further, some users do things like turn off Javascript in their web browser, or disable some sites images loading from specific sites. This would mean that stats services like SiteMeter and the like will simply not know anything about visits by certain classes of visitors; they would know nothing about any access to your RSS feed, downloadable files, scripts or CSS files, photos or images. The only thing they can know about is access to an HTML page, and that is only a part of what our stats reflect.
Due to these facts, third party stats will almost always under-report the activity on your web site. |

A blog has to be registered on TTLB in order to be tracked. And also, the blog has to put the TTLB code into their site too and also be tracked via Site Meter.
