How does Blogware integrate with Technorati? Does every word in the article get tagged or do only the words I put as keywords get tagged?
I'm trying to work out why my articles aren't picked up in Technorati. Can anyone help? I'm just trying to work it out before I waste time manually adding tags to my blog |

We ping Technorati by default so they do index our blogs, but if you want to use their tags system your best bet is to enter them manually. |

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough, I will try to be clearer. By default, we do nothing for you with regards to Technorati tags. Our system was created before Technorati tags existed, so if you want to get the most accurate answer as to what Technorati can determine from a blog with regards to tagging, you should ask them and not us.
Here is their help page on tags:
http://technorati.com/help/tags.html
This page tells you that they automatically assume categories are tags. Not sure if we would agree with that as a rule, but there you have it.
As for the rest of your question, I'm honestly not sure where the disconnect is between our previous reply and your followup question, but perhaps if you could read through the Technorati Tags help page you will gain a better understanding of their system, from there we might be able to find a way to discuss this issue further. |
