My own comments blocked

I've just responded to a comment on my own blog - i.e. left a comment myself, and received this:

The blog owner has been notified about your comment! It will appear on the blog once it has been reviewed.

Hm .. .I am the owner and am signed into my reader account.

If you have chosen to moderate comments, all comments are moderated including your own. At this time the system does not pass through comments unmoderated if they come from an admin. We do have this noted as a previously requested feature enhancement, so perhaps it will be something we'll be able to add in the future.

I have the "Moderate only if comment is detected as spam" setting, and I guess this is the first time the system deemed my content spam

My comment was in response to a comment that was originally flagged as spam, and of course I approved it, then responded. Oh, well - at least I saw the holding message for once ...

I got one of my own trackbacks within the one blog held as suspect - at least we know there is some screening going on
