I'm baffled about how to:
a) display more of each article on the Main Page but without loss of links
b) reduce the number of articles on the Main Page
c) specify whole articles to be served with RSS

a) displaying articles
If I choose the default, first 20 words, it keeps links but is very enigmatic. If I cut and paste a couple of paras from the editing box, they lose their links. Sometimes I'd like to display much more of the article on the Main Page but that doesn't work if I don't have the links
b) if I categorize an article as Main Page does that mean it stays on the Main Page forever? I'd like to have fewer articles on the Main Page
c) is there something I can do to specify that people who get my RSS feeds get the whole article, not just excerpts?

Let's start with C: RSS feeds on our service contain the full text of an article. That is not configurable at this time. So there is nothing for you to do here, the RSS feed already contains the full text of your articles.

B - Reducing the number of articles on the Main Page. We cover that issue here in an article called How to Manage your Bandwidth:

This is the Paging type option accessible from Settings & Security > Navigation.

A - I am not exactly sure what you mean, but we advise entering your excerpts manually and not automatically when using the Rich Text Editor for the reasons we noted here:

http://forums.blogharbor.com/viewtopic.php?t=913

Or you should just check the excerpt in the Edit Article page after you post. The raw HTML source will be there, not the HTML as it would be displayed in your browser. Look for HTML tags that are unmatched and that is where you would need to make modifications...

Got it.
>B - Reducing the number of articles on the Main Page
OK - I've followed these instructions
>A - we advise entering your excerpts manually and not automatically when using the Rich Text Editor
I think what you've provided is clear enough for me to achieve what I want.

Many thanks
