I am changing the category section for my blog, so that one side has a different list of favorites. When I try to save this I get, "Invalid component id: rss_feed_"
Any hints?
Thanks |

This is a bug on our side which occurs when attempting to modify the Layout of a child category when the parent category contains an active RSS Headline component in the sidebar...
While we are working on a fix, there is a workaround: First, remove the custom Layout for the child category by clicking on the Revert to Default button at the top of its Layout page. Next, move the RSS Headline component on the parent category (in this case the Main Page category) to the Inactive column in your Layout manager. Now, Customize the child category Layout.
Lastly, you should now be able to add back the RSS Headline component to your Main Page layout and modify the Layout of the child as you see fit.
Sorry for the inconvenience! We'll try to figure out what is causing the error you report and take care of it as soon as we can. |
