Hi John:

Gosh I'm sorry this is so pesky. Believe it or not, I checked my source code and the align=left WAS there. So. . . I tried two things. First I deleted the article. Then repasted as a new one. Still same problem. Then I aligned the photo to the right instead - thinking that the program didn't want to start the article with a photo. Still the same - in fact, even though my alignment tag was right, the browser still showed it left.Shocked Yep, I refreshed, rebooted. Sigh.... John, did you assign me haunted serverspace?? Laughing

I can only conclude that I need to throw in the towel with this. It looks funny, but I really want the photo at the start of the article. I am using IE - maybe that's it. I think it's time to download Mozilla. Laughing

Anyway, if you have another idea, let me know. It's a puzzle... by the way - the other article I have posted, I did the same thing, but the image isn't at the very beginning. And it's narrower (although the more I think about that the more I think it shouldn't logically matter).

Another by the way - just for your info, I'm using a Mac (are you?) - iMac Os 9.2 (I detest MacOs X) with some MacOsX extras. Everything seems to be fine with your program. Which is great - sometimes Mac is a challenge.

I am looking at your site and I clearly do not see the same thing you do, this page:

http://askew.blogharbor.com/blog/_archives/2005/6/9/924448.html

contains this code:

Code:
<img src="http://askew.blogharbor.com/_NewPhotos/Sheilacar.jpg" align="top" hspace="5" vspace="5">

Here's a page we wrote last year with tips on posting with a Mac browser:

I think if you are still using OS 9, you should definitely stop using Internet Explorer... Make it's last official act to download the Wamcom version of Mozilla 1.3.1. The Wamcom Mozilla is the best browser for Mac users who have not made the switch to OS X.

The last released version of Mozilla for OS 9 was 1.2.1, but the Wamcom group made a version of 1.3.1 and it is by far your best choice for OS 9. Get this browser, the file is here.

Your life will change for the better. Once you're up and running with this browser, let us know if you're still having problems and we'll try to review what you're doing at that point to see if it's the tools or the process causing the problem.

Wow - thanks! I am going to do this right now.

Weird how I saved with the correct code in the text editor area - and it still showed the wrong one in the permanent source code on your end.

Thanks for your patience - I'll let you know how it goes.
