how to do this kind of quick-switch item?

I've discovered a blog hosted by blogharbor, and found an item very interesting...

and please scroll down the right to the "advertisement" component.
There is an item which can be quickly switched between "Best Deals" and "Search" by cursor...
Any idea to do such item?

That looks like some code which was supplied by the affiliate program. I could only suggest looking at the source to see if you can figure out what makes it tick, and try to adapt it for your own purposes.

The ad in question is from Chitika, an affiliate marketing program. It's one of their eMiniMalls.

I just started using eMiniMalls on my blog and am already loving Chitika. The eMiniMalls are similar to Google AdSense in that they pay-per-click -- and they pay very well. Their pay-per-click looks to be higher than what I receive from Google although their click-through rate is lower (however, the higher payout compensates). Their ads are defaulted to be contextual but you can make them be keyword-based to avoid conflict with Google rules.
