Shutting down a blog

My blog address has been outed on another forum, and I don't want all those people looking at it as it contains some personal info on me.

anyway, I'd like to know how I can go about making the site inaccessible, at least for awhile.

Assuming you don't want to remove your blog, your best solution for a private blog is to restrict access to your blog. You can restrict access by category, including the Main Page category.

This would mean that the people who you want to be able to see the blog would need to get Reader Accounts and you would need to specifically allow those readers to have access to the blog.
