A couple of times last month, I put a smiley in the header of a post. When I did it, I wasn't sure it would work, but it did.

Now it's not, or at least it didn't when I pulled up the "most popular articles" listing today. Nor did it work when I opened the post in edit mode. But when I went to the index page to get links to put here, the icons displayed correctly there. Was it a fluke that they worked then, or that they're not working now? It's not something I would normally do, and I doubt I'll ever do it again, but it seemed appropriate those two days (Aug. 12th & 13th; http://gristandgristle.blogharbor.com/blog/Miscellaneous) - just for gigles.

If they're supposed to work, please check why they've stopped (or does this have something to do with the developer accessing my files the other day?). If they're not supposed to work, please tell me so I can edit those headers.[/url]

While HTML can be input into the article title area, I wouldn't suggest doing so... You will only see the raw HTML codes in the control panel, you won't see the "output" of the HTML.

Thanks. I just wanted to know what I should be seeing. As I said, I may never do it again, or (if I do) maybe once a year. Smile They did serve a purpose those two days.
