Recent Entries vs. Recent Articles

What is the difference between these two components? I can't figure it out with my current posts (which is a few), they have the same list of posts.

Hi,

Recent Articles lists the last 5 posts you have written. Recent Entries lists the last 5 entries, which may include posts, and/or photos.
