I think you might just be looking for the URL for sending XML-RPC requests to, I don't know of any server ID numbers... You can use http://api.blogharbor.com/xmlrpc.cgi for this. |

Hello Des,
Thomas here from How To Blog...glad you specifically jumped over to BlogHarbor. Told you John rocks didn't I?
Out of curiosity have you considered the build in email notification that BlogHarbor already provides? You may want to promote that within your sidebars or in a sig at the end of your articles (hey, I should be doing that myself right?).
In the upper/top right of your blog you will see the "subscribe" link. This feature allows users to sign up for email and / or RSS updates for ALL of your content categories or individual categories. It allows people to easily see your overall content offerings and decide how they want to receive notification.
They can subscribe to articles, comments or both via email. Comment updates via RSS isn't available just yet but I understand that BlogHarbor has that on record as a feature enhancement.
You have an integrated solution that just might work for you. One way I use it is the email myself copies of articles I write for backup, offline archival and content repurposing. Works wonderfully I don't have to manage anything. Readers can subscribe and modify their subscriptions as they see fit.
Best Regards,
Thomas

Sounds like a great suggestion Thomas. I will look into it.
Yes, I'm delighted I made the move to Blogware via BlogHarbor - and have posted about that on Andy Wibbels' EasyBakeWeblogs blog - www.easybakeweblogs.com _________________ Des Walsh
