I am adding a series of 'articles' to a blog.
Typically, I am selecting a new post, then pasting in the entry and reviewing that. I have noticed the following.
I return to the edit window and select the edit point with the cursor. If the first key I press is either 'del' or 'backspace' nothing happens.
I have to enter a new character to activate editing, it seems, and then I can do the deletion I seek.
Is this a known feature?

I would say it's more of a known anamoly than a known feature...
Some browsers seem to have a problem doing what the programmers refer to as setting focus. In other words, they don't realize you're asking them to do anything. I have seen the issue you are referring to, where the delete or backspace keys do not activate the editor. Just typing a character seems to do the trick. |

Again thanks.
Since I am using the browser of the hour, Firefox, I'll let them know of this anomalous feature.
