Hello there,

In my Transfer Usage stats for the last seven days (I've seen it before in the last 30 days as well) this request has appeared -

prototype.js - one hit - Tansfer Used: 53kb

I have never entered such a file/entry on my blog.

When saved, clicked on and viewed, this appears at the top of a page of code:

/* Prototype JavaScript framework, version 1.5.0_rc0 * (c) 2005 Sam Stephenson * * Prototype is freely distributable under the terms of an MIT-style license. * For details, see the Prototype web site: http://prototype.conio.net/ *

What is it? Who and what is transferring?

Allo blogs load some Javascripts generated by our system which enable a variety of features such as album slideshows, the "Mini-JS" photo album layout, and elements of the commenting system. If you view the source code of your page, you will see that this prototype.js file is referenced within the HTML code of your page.
