Would like to know how I can create hyperlinks on my
blog pictures/captions to other websites.

I don't understand the question... What is it you are trying to do exactly that you are having problems doing? Just create links?

I was looking for how to create links to the "Recent Photo's" system component on my main admin blog page. When visitors click on the photo or caption it would link to another website.

If you are looking to create an article which contains one of the images you uploaded to an album and links to an external site, then you would just need to create a new article and follow these steps:

1. Click on the Add Photo icon (the postcard icon, looks like a mountain with the sun behind it).
   
2. Look for the Photo Album section and choose the album from which you want to add a photo, and click the Choose Image button.
   
3. Click on the link for the photo you want to add to your article, you should be able to choose the thumbnail sized version or the full sized version.
   
4. After clicking on the size, the popup window will disappear and you will see the image in the editor window. Select the image by clicking on it.
   
5. Now select the Hyperlink icon (looks like an anchor) and input the URL you want to link to.
   

That's it, you have added one of your images into an article and linked it to an external URL.
