When I try to delete the code and then save it reappears. All I did was copy and paste it from an email the author sent me to NotePad and pasted it to the blog. Then checked auto excerpt first 30 words. I couldnt write Java Script if I had to I barely know HTML Embarassed Laughing So in your professional Guruness what is up with that? Was that an underminded attempt at something or was it something I did unknowingly when I copied and pasted?

FYI, this is in reference to Dawn's previous post PANIC What is wrong blog will not display.

If you could post replies to a topic you started to the topic itself instead of starting a new topic, that would help keep things organized. In other words, there's no need to start a new topic when you are replying to an existing one. Thanks for understanding.

I don't think there's any underhandedness involved. I'll bet you are using a Microsoft email client and someone sent you HTML email. You copied, and that copied the HTML, and you went and pasted it in. You didn't know it contained Javascript and that was the issue.

Try pasting the content into Notepad so it loses the HTML information. The copy the text again from Notepad and now paste it into the blog editor. That should have removed the HTML from your text.

You'll need to manually enter your own excerpt.
