Hi John,
I'm wondering if there's a way to set up Category Favorites so they autopost.
Here's the background. If you go to my blog's main page, you'll see a list of articles on the right column under the header BP Thunder Horse News. I used Favorites to create the component. Each time I posted a new article, though, I opened the BP Favorite and manually added the URL and Title to it.
I did this because it was a hot topic for a blog for a while and I wanted to make it easy for people to see the line up of available articles (and it worked fabulously! )
Is there a way to automate that process using categories in some way? For example, I created a subcategory called BP Thunder Horse Platform to capture all the articles in one place. Is there a way so that every time I added to that subcategory, web magic would happen so the article shows up in the BP Favorites list like it already happens for Recent Articles? _________________ Thanks!

Yes, you can do that... Since every category generates its own RSS feed, you can use the RSS Headline component to display the links from an RSS feed from your own site... |

John,
I tried following the instructions given on the URL you referenced and they don't work.
I opened RSS Headline Components. In the field for URL, I input....
http://bigcatchronicles.blogharbor.com/blog/Energy/Katrina
Then gave the category the name "Katrina Oil News"
Got back an error message that said "unable to parse feed: invalid xml?"
Please advise. _________________ Thanks!

In the URL field, you need to enter the RSS URL, not the URL of a web page.
On most BlogHarbor weblogs, there is a component called RSS Newsfeeds containing the orange XML logo which shows the link to the main RSS feed and the category RSS feed. On your blog, if you scroll down all the way to the bottom on the right sidebar you will see this. Right click to copy the link, and you'll see the URL of the category RSS for the category you are referring to is:
