Hi John,
Is there a way I can change a person's subscriber status so they don't get email notifications? I'm doing lots of test entries in my new blog (SCIY) before it officially goes public. A few friends I've mentioned it to have subscribed themselves and I don't want to fill their email boxes with notifications of testing entries.
While I'm at it, I'd like to thank you for your fast & informative responses to other Admin's questions. I've been reading through them for awhile now, and they've been a great help in getting up to speed on BlogHarbor. And the ongoing dialogue in these forums has given me a positive sense of BlogHarbor having both excellent customizable software & great support. Only subscribers can change their subscription, unfortunately it is not possible for you as the publisher to remove a subscriber.
However, there is a checkbox on the Post Article screen on the right side, under the Advanced Optoimns section. Look for the checkbox to Send notification to subscribers and uncheck it when you make your test posts. That will ensure that your subscribers don't have to receive your "mic checks".

You are quite welcome. We'll try to keep it up! |
