Hi,
I am trying to create search links (to the built in search function)
See, for example
http://blog.azeyes.net/blog/_archives/2006/2/23/1780348.html
(the links that say More reviews of.. and by.. at the bottom).
Works nicely as long as I use, eg, the reviewer's name and the title of
the book. But
a) I would really like to search on the reviewer's number (which appears in
the url for a reviewer anchor, but is not visible on the page) or an ISBN (similar situation). Tried a search on those, but nothing came back.
Is there a way to request the search function to "look harder".
b) If not, then I would at least like to search for the name or title as a whole phrase; results I'm getting are looking for all (or maybe some) of the words in the phrase. Quoting does not seem to help.
Thanks,
Fred Katz |

Interesting way to put it, but no there is no way to ask the search function to "look harder"...

As far as I know, searching by phrase is not supported. I'm going to try and verify that, and will followup here if I find that is not the case. |
