There is no template to customize at this time. The search engine results page is not customizable.

Preset searches are a very simple and easy way to additionally structure information within a category, ...., it would have to work within a category, or for the whole blog, ...

Just to be clear, you're talking about a template for the search results page, right? You want to customize the way the appearance of search results, correct? If so, yes, that is already on the "feature enhancement request list" along with many other items...

If you are looking for additional flexibility with regards to search, consider assigning keywords to your articles.

It is not likely that we will add the ability to restrict searches to a specific category, if that's what you are asking for.

Just wondering, how do you find that the lack of a customizable search results page makes the search feature less useful? I mean, how do you see that there is less functionality as a consequence?

Yes, I was asking for a style template for search results, .. it looks quite bad right now, .., which is a shame, ..., please add this one soon -> it is essential for keeping a coherent style throughout the blog.
