Archive display

I just noticed that the archive months listing apparently only lists five months. I tried going into the display options to see if there was something I could do. However, I didn't see any obvious way to alter it. I tried adding archive years to it, and that was even worse.

I would like the main page to either show all of the months, or only the ones for the current year. The latter option would mean that I needed to know how to make archive year display all of 2005, instead of just December, with the most recent five months - irrespective of year - showing at the bottom.

In any case, there's no way I want a limit of five months displayed.

Either there's something lame about the programming (i.e., I don't see blogs using other software displaying precisely 5 months), or there's some aspect about which I'm completely ignorant. I'm betting/hoping for the latter; that's far more easily fixable.

The Month Archive component will only display the 5 most recent months, it is not configurable. You can create your own custom component or a Favorites list if you are looking for additional flexibility in displaying links to your past content. This thread from last month on the same topic discusses your options. Please followup on that thread if you have any questions.
