Send trackback notifications

John could you please explain the 'Send trackback notifications' option to me which is in - post - article - advanced options - notifications.

I have searched everywhere and found nothing on this item.

Checking this on an article will send you an email notification when you receive a trackback for an article. Since most people will receive far more spam trackbacks than legitimate ones, you probably don't want to check this box.
