I'm interested in trying to add a Pligg content mamagement system to my blog. See www.pligg.com
It pretty much works like Digg and can provide an interative forum feature where users can easily upload content to the site.
Also, If I can add this as a section, would the search engines track it as part of my blogharbor domain?
Any input appreciated. |

Like our service, Pligg is a CMS or content management system. Since our service does not allow the use of MySQL or PHP scripting, it is not possible to install Pligg into a BlogHarbor blog. You could of course create a new account on our Rackshare hosting service which would allow you to use MySQL and PHP. |

Thanks John,
I like certain features of both management systems.
Just to confirm one thing: If I hosted this CMS on rackshare, could it be set up as part of my existing domain, such as www.widgets.com/pligg or would I need to set up a new domain?
And is this pretty much the same for adding a forum like vBulletin to a blogharbor domain? I tried a search on adding forums but couldn't find anything.

You would need a new domain, or a subdomain. So if your BlogHarbor domain was www.example.com, you would need to create a separate site using a subdomain like pligg.example.com or an entirely new domain like www.pliggexample.com . It would not be possible to host your blog at www.example.com and host your forum at www.example.com/forum .

Yes, it would be pretty much the same. |
