There are some intermittent non-responses tonight. One of them cost me a whole draft post, because I wasn't expecting problems. BlogHarbor is never down, unless there's a notice up on Saturday night.
So what gives? |

It does look there were some database slowdowns overnight, I will make sure that our admins take a look at the logs today to determine what might have been the cause. Very sorry for the inconvenience. |

Hi Gristgal,
I find that for safety's sake it's best to work in notepad or textpad, or at the very least copy the article source to a text editor before submitting. Just in case. I realize that doesn't help you now, but maybe for next time. _________________ -- Abacquer, A.K.A. Chuck Seggelin |

Hi Chuck,
You're right. Last year, when I started my blog (on MyBlogSite, which went belly-up), I wrote all my posts in NoteTab (a free lite/paid pro gizmo centered around a substitute for Notepad, with a set of bells&whistles that's uh-mayzing and includes many html and programming features - http://www.notetab.com/products.php), because MBS was, mmm, unreliable.
After I'd been on BlogHarbor a while, I stopped bothering. I guess I need to go back to it. :sigh: OTOH, if I can recover the habit, I can plug in all my formatting, and import to the system. Then I'll see whether Blogware screws around with the code the way it does if I insert it as I write. Or maybe I'll have gotten all my questions answered on the browser help MB, and be using something newer, that Blogware likes better. |
